The Department of Statistics at Colorado State University invites applications for a tenured faculty position at the rank of associate or full professor with negotiable starting date as early as January 2019. This regular, tenured faculty position in the department comes with nine months of academic year full-time support. We seek an exceptionally strong candidate to lead the statistical component of multidisciplinary research for CSU’s new Translational Medicine Institute (TMI) in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The TMI will develop biologic therapies for human and veterinary medicine, drawing on established areas of CSU medical research expertise as well as statistical expertise for planning and experimental design, implementation, and analysis and interpretation. This position will have an academic home in the Department of Statistics and will require a strong commitment to leading and advancing the interdisciplinary research and education mission of the TMI. Candidates with research interests and applied expertise in innovative clinical trials are particularly encouraged to apply.
