The University of Minnesota School of Statistics is looking for two post-doctoral research associates, with skills in foundations or applications of Data Science, for example, Statistics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Material Science. One of the postdoctoral positions is primarily for a research project on the applications of data-driven methods to solve multi-scale problems in physical sciences. The other position is for a research project on data science methods for material sciences. We are strongly committed to attracting candidates from under-represented groups and minorities.
