The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Villanova University invites applications for two tenure track positions in Statistics with the rank of Assistant Professor. The positions begin in August 2024, and the teaching load is 15 credits per year for at least the years leading up to the tenure decision. Candidates from all areas of Statistics, including Biostatistics and Data Science, are invited to apply.

Join a dynamic group of eleven statisticians with varied research interests! Our Statistics program features a well-established MS in Applied Statistics and Data Science, an undergraduate major, and an undergraduate minor. Graduates of our program pursue careers in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries as well as in business, consulting, and education. Some also pursue a Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field.

Our department currently has 42 full-time faculty members across mathematics and statistics and is known for its collegiality.
