The Department of Statistics is administratively located within the College of Arts and Sciences at Oklahoma State University and currently has eight full time faculty tenured/tenure track, two teaching assistant professors, one lecturer and 20-25 graduate students. The Department offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Statistics, and an M.S. in Applied Statistics. The department has a long tradition of applications-oriented programs and maintains continuing ties with the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Experiment Station that can afford our graduate students’ opportunities for practical training and offer faculty a consulting outlet.
OSU is Oklahoma’s land grant university and houses the only statistics department in the state of Oklahoma. The University enrolls more than 24,000 students from all 50 states and more than 120 countries. over 4,000 of them are pursuing graduate or professional degrees.
