Assistant Professor (tenure-track) – Miami University

Assistant Professor (tenure-track) to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics, data science and data analytics; conduct methodological and collaborative research leading to publication and external funding; provide academic advising; provide service to the institution and the profession. Candidates in all statistical specialties are invited to apply for this position. Appointment begins August 2024.

 

Required: Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, data science, data analytics or a closely related field by date of appointment.

 

Consideration may be given to candidates with research expertise complementing the expertise of department faculty and/or to candidates who can teach courses in our Data Analytics program (current curricular emphasis is on R and Python).
