The Department of Statistics is undergoing a rapid expansion as part of the university’s substantial investment in data science, which includes the newly formed School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences (cdis.wisc.edu/) and a future new building (cdis.wisc.edu/building/). The department is home to the Data Science major, the university’s fastest-growing major.
