The Department of Mathematics at Rowan University is seeking to hire one or more faculty in Non-Tenure Track Teaching Professor positions in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related fields.
A Master of Science degree is required, with preference for candidates with a Ph.D., in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. We anticipate hiring at the Assistant Teaching Professor level, but outstanding candidates may be considered at the Associate Teaching Professor or Teaching Professor levels. Successful candidates must have a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level and contribute to the University and profession through service. Although outstanding candidates in all areas of mathematics will be considered, the preferred areas of teaching interest and expertise are mid and upper-level Statistics.
The positions are 10-month full-time, renewable, and include benefits. Successful candidates will teach a total of 24 credits over two semesters, with the option to teach overload and the possibility of teaching summer classes for additional compensation.
