GOHA Graduate Fellows

The Global One Health Fellows program brings together an interdisciplinary cohort of graduate students from across the university. Through courses, networking, and opportunities for professional development, fellows broaden their knowledge in multiple domains of One Health while learning from peers and mentors to bring new perspectives that facilitate a deeper understanding in their field of study.

Apply by February 1st to join the 2024-2025 GOHF cohort

One Health is the idea that the health of people is connected to the health of animals, plants, and ecosystems. As the Earth’s population grows, people are living closer together, causing changes in climate and land use, increasing global travel and trade, and interacting with animals as food and companions. A One Health approach tackles health threats by looking at all angles – plant, animal, biodiversity, environmental, and human – and recognizes the interconnectedness of these systems with the goal of improving their health outcomes simultaneously. To accelerate graduate student research in One Health at NC State, the Global One Health Academy is pleased to announce its call for applications for the 2024-2025 cohort of Global One Health Fellows.
