Open Rank Research Faculty member – Northeastern University

The Department of Health Sciences and the OHDSI Center at Northeastern University invite applications for an open-rank Research Faculty member.

We seek outstanding candidates with experience in either methodological or applied research in the analysis of large-scale observational health data to improve patient outcomes and the health of populations. We welcome applicants involved across the entire pipeline of conducting observational health studies at scale, with a focus on faculty whose research areas include the use of real-world data such as health insurance billing and claims data, and electronic health records.

This Research Faculty member will be hired at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Research Professor, according to experience. This faculty member will be responsible for managing research projects and/or people as technical leader; prepare and submit research grants to obtain funding; publish cutting edge research; mentor junior faculty, postdocs, and students as appropriate.
