We are excited to announce the call for applications for the EU MSCA SHARE-CTD Doctoral Network, a European Union-funded initiative designed to foster excellence in clinical trial data sharing. This three year program is specially tailored for outstanding students in data science, biostatistics, computer science, medicine, clinical trials, (clinical) epidemiology or related disciplines.
SHARE-CTD is a European doctoral network spanning universities in Berlin, Göttingen, Lyon, Munich, Padova, Rennes, Utrecht, Vienna, and Zurich. The program offers a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research focused on the sharing and re-using of clinical trial data, with an emphasis on Open Science.
The projects encompass topics such as:
- Data sharing for validation of prognostic and predictive models in clinical trials.
- Assessing the impact and methodologies of clinical trial data sharing.
- Innovations in data anonymisation, privacy protection, and automated screening tools.
- Meta-analyses in mental health and cross-design synthesis in health technology assessment.
- Statistical methods to use historic data to augment clinical trials and evaluating outcome reporting biases.
