Instructional Assistant Professor – Texas A&M University

The Department of Statistics in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas A&M University seeks one Academic Professional Track (APT) faculty position for appointment of Instructional Assistant Professor. This appointment is in the non-tenure track and will begin on August 1, 2024. The position is full time with a 9-month appointment.

The teaching load for this position includes teaching six courses per year. Based on applicant preferences, the courses may be taught at either the graduate or undergraduate level, and multiple sections of the same course may be counted separately toward the teaching requirement. The applicant is expected to participate in the course development at the graduate and undergraduate level. Successful applicants must have a doctorate in statistics or a related field, and previous experience in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level is highly desired.
