Two Assistant Professors (tenure-track) Positions at Miami University

Two Assistant Professors (tenure-track) to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics, data science and data analytics; conduct methodological and collaborative research leading to publication and external funding; provide academic advising; provide service to the institution and the profession. The successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability or potential to collaborate with researchers in the physical, life, environmental, and/or social sciences. Position starts August 2025.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, data science, data analytics, or closely related field by date of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications

Consideration may be given to candidates with research expertise complementing the expertise of department faculty. Candidates in all statistical specialties are invited to apply for this position.
