Postdoctoral Research Associate – University of Connecticut

Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will engage in innovative research addressing statistical methodology, machine learning and/or learning techniques in complex biomedical and health-related challenges. We particularly focus on real-world applications in psychology, psychiatry, mental health, aging, and related fields.

Position QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Ph.D. degree in statistics, biostatistics, computer science or a related area

2. Strong background in statistical theory for high dimensional data

3. Computational skills in R and/or Python (ability to develop user-friendly codes)

4. Strong written and oral communication skills

PREFERRED QUAILFICATIONS

1. Experience in modern statistical methods in machine learning, AI, and related areas is highly desirable

2. Ability to engage, connect, and work with diverse administrative and faculty populations
