The Carleton College Department of Mathematics and Statistics anticipates hiring for a two-year visiting assistant professor (non-tenure track) position in Statistics beginning Fall 2025. The department includes five statisticians and we have a robust and evolving statistics program including a major in statistics and a minor in statistics and data science. The expected starting salary range for this position is between $72,000 and $76,775.
Carleton is a highly selective liberal arts college with a student body of approximately 2,000 located in the thriving two-college town of Northfield, Minnesota. Many faculty also commute from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, whose greater metro area has a diverse population of three million people and a rich variety of cultural resources.
