Clinical Assistant Professor – NYU

The Department of Applied Statistics, Social Science, and Humanities (ASH) in conjunction with the Center for Practice and Research at the Intersection of Information, Society, and Methodology (PRIISM) seeks a clinical (teaching-based) assistant professor in applied statistics for social science research. Ideally, candidates would also have previous experience: (1) teaching introductory statistics classes to a broad audience (2) teaching classes related to machine learning or other computationally-heavy methods, Bayesian statistics, or techniques for working with missing data; (3) engaging in statistical consulting work and training.
