As part of an anticipated multiyear expansion, the Department of Statistics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University invites applications for two non-tenure-track lecturer positions with an August 1, 2024 start date:

Applicants should have a strong record of teaching excellence at the undergraduate service-course level. A commitment to cooperation in teaching and/or managing our large service courses, S301: Applied Statistics Methods for Business and/or S303: Statistics for the Life Sciences, as well as to implementing proven effective pedagogical strategies in those courses is essential. A Ph.D. is required. A Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, or a closely related field is preferred.  Candidates with a Ph.D. in a field that uses statistics who hold an M.S. in statistics will be considered.
