This Biostatistician position with the Durham VA Center of Innovation to Accelerate Discovery and Practice Transformation at the Durham VA Health Care System, is in support of research projects conducted by the Center.

Requirements:
• Position requires Ph.D., DrPH, or equivalent degree in statistics/biostatistics or related field -OR- a combination of education and
experience as a statistical investigator responsible for independently designing and leading implementation of analysis plans for
research protocols.
• Substantial experience with SAS and/or R.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Must be a US citizen to apply.
The following skills are considered a bonus:
• Collaborative research or consulting experience.
• Experience with innovative trial design and/or causal inference methodology.
• Experience with grant proposal preparation.
• Basic knowledge of epidemiology/public health.
Position: Statistical Investigator, The Center of Innovation for Accelerating Discovery and Practice Transformation at the VA Durham Healthcare System, Durham, North Carolina. This position is for a GS 13 (begins at $102,613) or GS 14 (begins at $121,258) as commensurate with education and experience. Benefits included. This position is anticipated to be an in-person position, but there may also be teleworking arrangements. This is not a fully remote position.
