Assistant or Associate Professor in Statistics – University of Kentucky

The Dr. Bing Zhang Department of Statistics in the College of Arts Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY seeks to fill two tenure-eligible faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. These are 9-month positions in the regular title series with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2025. We seek candidates with demonstrated statistical or probabilistic potential in the areas of Data Science, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning. Demonstrated excellence in both teaching and research is required. Candidates should be competent to teach a variety of subjects at the undergraduate and graduate level, commensurate with a required broad graduate education.

A Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field is required.
