The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Winona State University has a new position for a faculty member in Data Science/Statistics. This new faculty member will join seven others in teaching courses within our long-standing and successful undergraduate programs in data science and statistics.
This data science/statistics position at Winona State is a tenure-track position with an appointment date starting in August 2025. Primary duties of this position are to teach a wide variety of data science and statistics courses using an innovative and modern curriculum. Additional duties include: supervising undergraduate research projects or internships, conducting scholarly research, and providing service to the department. Minimum qualifications for this position are: 1) Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, or Biostatistics with an anticipated completion date of August 2025, and 2) Experience teaching a data science or statistics course as the primary instructor or as a teaching assistant.
