Colorado State University is looking to hire an Assistant Professor in the Statistics Department in a teaching position (non-tenure track). A PhD in statistics or a closely related field is required prior to the proposed start date (August 2025). Preferred qualifications include: university-level teaching experience; experience with applied statistics or collaborative science; ability to teach applied graduate courses; ability to teach in-person, online, and hybrid in-person and online courses; capacity to advance the Department’s overall teaching mission including course development and pedagogy within the discipline of statistics; and capacity to advance the Department’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
