The Department of Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (BSPH) is seeking an outstanding colleague with emphasis on teaching and education to join our faculty. There is unprecedented opportunity for positive impact on emerging scientists and public health practitioners. Primary responsibilities are to partner in teaching the department’s large courses targeted to public health students at all levels, from undergraduate to advanced graduate, and, ultimately, to lead a subset of these and to provide intellectual leadership around biostatistics pedagogy and academic programs. Persons enthusiastic to innovate in teaching methodology and to advance educational knowledge are particularly sought. Scholars at the early and mid-career level are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
Qualified applicants will have a doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field. Individuals with a masters degree and experience teaching statistics/biostatistics at the graduate (and/or undergraduate) level will also be considered. The rank and title of the appointment will be determined in accordance with the successful candidate’s experience and agreed portfolio of responsibilities.
