Five positions in Statistics and Operations Research – University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill

The Department of Statistics and Operations Research at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, has five faculty openings. Three of these are tenure-track assistant professor positions: the first in statistics; the second in either statistics or operations research, jointly with the School of Data Science and Society; and the third for a candidate in either statistics or operations research with interests in one of more of cybersecurity, forensic science, ethical artificial intelligence, responsible machine learning, social good, fairness and related domains. The other two faculty openings are for a professor of the practice (a fixed-term position intended for individuals with meaningful industry experience) and for a teaching assistant professor.
