Biostats Internship – Clinvia

Clinvia LLC is a data science and technology company providing services in Clinical development to leading pharmaceuticals and biotech companies. Clinvia team is looking for Biostatistician Intern to support Oncology and other drug development.

  • Responsibilities :
    • Support Statistical Analyses: The Biostatistician will be responsible for
      conducting statistical analyses on clinical trial data, including designing
      studies, selecting appropriate statistical methods, and interpreting results.
    • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: This role will require close
      collaboration with various teams, including clinical, regulatory, and medical
      affairs, to ensure the accuracy and quality of statistical analyses and data
      interpretation.
    • Develop Statistical Plans: The Biostatistician will be responsible for
      developing statistical plans for clinical trials, including sample size
      calculations, randomization schemes, and data monitoring plans.
    • Review Protocols and Study Reports: This role will involve reviewing study
      protocols and reports to ensure statistical analyses are accurately
      represented and to provide input on study design and methodology.
    • Communicate Results: The Biostatistician will be responsible for
      communicating statistical results to internal and external stakeholders,
      including presenting findings at meetings and conferences.
  • Qualifications:
    • Recent PhD graduate or candidate planning to graduate within the next six
      months in Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related
      discipline with a statistical focus.
    • Proficiency in advanced R/Shiny programming.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated leadership
      abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Onsite required in Redwood city,CA
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
