Assistant Professor-Clinical Teaching Track – Colorado School of Public Health

The Colorado School of Public Health (ColoradoSPH) has an opening for a full-time open-rank Assistant Professor – Biostatistician position within the clinical teaching track. This position will reside within the Department of Biostatistics and Informatics and the Center for Innovative Design and Analysis (CIDA). The position emphasizes teaching with some collaborative team science research opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct our Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD) education program which is funded as part of the Colorado Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CCTSI) UL1 funded research program through NIH-NCATS
  • Teach multiple 6-week short courses within the above continuing education program
  • Develop one formal education courses to graduate students in the Department of Biostatistics and Informatics
  • Mentor students and junior faculty members who support the BERD and collaborative research
  • Develop a collaboration research portfolio that includes involvement in preparation of grant applications, analyses, and publication of data generated from funded studies.
