The Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University anticipates four tenure-track Assistant Professor positions (outstanding starting Associate Professors could also be considered) to begin September 2019. Completion of all requirements for a PhD/DSc degree in Statistics or a related field prior to beginning employment is required. The department encourages persons from all areas of research to apply, and is particularly interested in expertise in the broad area of data science. In addition to outstanding research, the successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and supervise graduate students. Excellent computing facilities are available and highly competitive startup funding is anticipated.
