The Mathematics Department at the University of Maryland invites
applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment, to
begin July, 2019, or later. Mathematical Statistics and Computational
Statistics is the targeted area. Applicants must present evidence of
exceptional accomplishments and promise in both research and teaching.
Duties include mathematical research, undergraduate and graduate
teaching, and departmental and university service. The position offers
significant possibilities for interdisciplinary collaboration due to the
Mathematics Department’s links with other units, centers, and institutes
at the University of Maryland.
